Do you see a strong relationship between historical and modern psychology?

The history of any subject is of great importance. Although psychology is a relatively ‘new’ science compared to, for example, medicine, it is rooted in ancient history. Be sure to discuss the connection between historical and modern psychology. Do you see a strong relationship? Support your response and use specific examples. You may refer to your assigned Week 1 textbook readings or draw on scholarly online resources. The latter must be academic in nature and not from commercial websites, blogs, opinion publications, etc. All sources on which posts are based must include correctly APA formatted source crediting in the body of the posts and in References lists attach to post ends.
