Forensic Psychology Paper

Comment:
Throughout your reading and viewing this week, you gained considerable insights into police interrogation techniques and how false confessions can develop. In addition, you have likely reflected on how innocent individuals can be swayed into confessing to crimes they did not commit. Now, you will have the opportunity to explore The Innocence Projects website (link available in the Week 3 resources) and read about its work. Then, be sure to select three cases that you will further analyze as part of this assignment. Your paper must address the following:

Provide a brief summary of the work that The Innocence Project does.

Analyze the three cases that you selected.

Discuss the causes of the individuals convictions and subsequent exonerations.

Reflect on how false confessions develop.
Support your assignment with at least two scholarly resources in addition to the cases from The Innocence Project.

Length: 3-5 pages

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the text and supplemental sources. Your response should reflect graduate-level writing and APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University\’s Academic Integrity Policy.

APA style In many industrialized countries other than the U.S., a significant proportion of physicians are general practitioners. For example, in Great Britain, more than 60% are general practitioners and in the Canada, more than 50%. In the U.S. approximately one-third of physicians are generalists (general and family practitioners, general internists, and general pediatricians). Assume you are Chair of the Health Subcommittee of the US House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee. What legislation might you propose to increase the proportion of generalist physicians? Why is this important? How will this benefit society? What are the risks or downsides of increasing the proportion of generalist physicians?

Health Management3

Comment:
Consider the following situation: Two page APA style with outside references-not WIkepedia Total US health care expenditures have been capped and are controlled by a health services commission. Because of tight budgetary constraints, the commission must decide whether to fund a comprehensive mammography screening program or a more limited mammography program and, instead, finance a high-cost chemotherapy program for patients with metastatic breast cancer (treatments whose effectiveness has not been proven, but which might help certain subgroups of women). Under the first option, several thousand cases of early-stage breast cancer could be treated with curative surgery each year, but women currently suffering from advanced-stage breast cancer would receive no benefit. Please answer the following questions How do we go about the task of deciding how to allocate funding? How do we reconcile the fact that any choice would necessarily benefit one group and not the other? How do we reconcile the ethical considerations against the fact that resources are finite? Might there be an approach in which the dilemma is reframed so that it is not either/or? If so, be specific about how this can be achieved.

Discuss Strategic Human Resource Management

This time it is for my for my \”Strategic Human Resource Management\” subject as part of my MB.A AIB has changed it\’s requirements I know need a 2000 word report ( +/- 10%). It needs to follow the AIB style guide. I have provided this guide in the past and can supply a copy again if required. Please advise. It still requires 6-12 references in the author-date style (Harvard) with in-text citations and a reference list. All references must be from credible sources such as books, industry related journals, magazines, company documents and recent academic articles. My textbook is \”Human Resource Management – Gaining a Competitive advantage\” 9E by Raymond A. Noe, John R. Hollenbeck, Barry Gerhart and Patrick M. Wright.(ISBN 978-0-07-811276-8) published by McGraw Hill and needs to be one of the references. I have a webinar on Wednesday next week to provide further details. So far all I know is that it needs to be about employee selection methods with a particular focus on a critical analysis of the method{s} used in an organization. It is to include a brief description of the organization. Assess the employee selection method(s) {in terms of their validity, reliability, generality, utility and legality} used in your chosen organization and make recommendations for improving the selection method{s}.
