The problem that the researcher aims to change through this study is the understanding of the implementation of cooperative learning, specifically through the vehicle of teamwork in the social influence units of AS psychology classes. Wilbur High is a pseudonym created for the research school for confidentiality and ethical purposes. The research questions are as follows:
1. What are students experiences and perceptions of cooperative learning as part of their learning at Wilbur High?
2. In what ways do students understand and create opportunities for cooperative learning processes within the Social Influence unit of Advanced Subsidiary level psychology?
3. To what extent is cooperative learning part of the students learning experiences at Wilbur High?
The research data in this study consist of semi-structured interviews, field notes, an intervention, a focus group interview and diaries.
