This writing assignment is meant to help you prepare for the upcoming papers. For this assignment. Go to the handouts link on the left side of your screen and find the Feldman Model handout. Either print it out, write it down, or open two tabs and use the ANALYSIS SECTION ONLY to complete this assignment. You took the dance elements class from the video with Professor Valls, you watched the dance elements video in the powerpoint for this unit and now you will practice writing about these elements while watching dance. No formal paper structure is needed. Simply type up a mini paper, 300-400 words, using the Analysis section of the Feldman Model and this video I have posted a link for here. You are not expected to write about the entire dance. That would be way more than 400 words. Either pick a section of the dance and focus on that section for the whole analysis OR find different sections of the dance where certain parts of the analysis stand out to you, for example, one section may use space more than another or one section may use more non-locomotor moves than another. A good way to review your elements that are on the handout is either to re-watch the mini class video OR re-watch the elements video in the powerpoint.
