Write a paper, 4 pages (2-column format) in length, on a topic covered in our textbook.

Information Technology Management – Advancing Sustainable Profitable Business Growth. Task B (17 Marks): Write a paper, 4 pages (2-column format) in length, on a topic covered in our textbook. For thisassignment, you need to plan, research, and, use your initiative to express the knowledge you learnt inthis subject as well as your own independent thinking and reasoning. Possible topicsYour attention in this paper can be focused on any of the following topics covered in our text: · Information Management / IT Architecture.· Database, Data, Warehouse, and Data Mining.· Networks, Collaboration, and Sustainability.· CyberSecurity, Compliance, and Business Continuity.· E-Business & E-Commerce Models and Strategies.· Mobile Technologies and Commerce.· Social Media.· Enterprise Systems and Applications.· Performance Management Using Data Visualization, Mashups, and Mobile Intelligence. ApproachChoose a topic which you are interested in and/or which is related to your work. You should do this asearly as possible. Once you have chosen a topic, read our text carefully followed by detailed research.Once this is done, you should set up a structure/a series of subtopics and decide what to write undereach section (subtopic). Here is a suggested structure (you don’t have to follow it, but your own structure must be logical): Abstract: a condensed summary. If someone reads your abstract only, he/she should understand yourmain points. You may want to write this section last; Index terms: list the key words used in your paper; Introduction: introduce the topic you are going to write about. This section must be related to thetopics you learnt during the Session. However, you should branch out by carrying out your ownresearch to enhance this section; Subtopics and supporting argument: write a series of body paragraphs with sub-points;Conclusion: Many students get confused between the conclusion and the abstract. In the conclusion, you can reflect on how your topic relates to larger issues; evaluate the concepts you have presented;issue a call for action on the part of your audience; ask questions generated by your findings; makepredictions, recommend a solution or give a personal statement about the topic. With your structure in order, you have a skeleton for your paper: you can now begin by writing outyour analyses of the passages you have chosen. As you write and revise, you may have the need to addto your analyses or to re-order your chosen arguments. Using a structure as the skeleton for a paper inthis way can carry you more than halfway to a completed draft. Types of papersAcademic papers can be broadly categorized into 2 types:1. Argumentative Papers;2. Analytical Papers. For details, please see  Format and mechanicsYou must strictly follow the format provided in the following link, such as space, font, margin etc…

My prof gave me lots of questions to answer but I have too little time A little help would be much appreciated, all questions are related to analytical geometry. Exercise 1* 1.Draw the Circle whose center is at (5,-3) and touching the x-axis at (5,0). Does this circle pass through (3,-1)? Through (5,-6)? * 2. Show that the points (-2,2), (5,-8) and (-9,12) are collinear. * 3. Show that the points (-2,-1), (8,3) and (1,6) are the vertices of a right triangle. Then find the area of the triangle. Exercise 1.1Express the given statement by an equation. Draw the figure described. * The point (x,y) is 6 units from (-2,7) Locate the points and satisfy the given condition. * Equidistant from (-8,-3), (-2,5) and (4,3) Use the given graph to find the following () * Coordinates of points Q, T and W* Length of the line segment TU* Length of the line segment VW* Length of the line segment QS Next Find the area of the triangle with vertices (6,7), (1, -2) and (-7,-1) Exercise 2 * Three vertices of a parallelogram are at (-2,3), (-4,-2) and (2, -4). Find the fourth vertex. There are 3 possible answers one answer is enough. * The line segments joining the points (-3, -1) and (6,4) is divided into two segments, one of which is three times as long as the other. Find the point of division. There are 2 possible answers one answer is enough * The line segments joining points A(1, -2) and B (7,5) is extended through A by a point P such that P is three times as far from B as from A. Find the coordinates of P. Exercise 3 Draw the line passing through the given point and having indicated the inclination * (9,1) Angle of inclination=150 degrees Exercise 3.1 Solve the ff. * Show using the slopes that the points (2, -3), (6, -1) and (6,-11) are vertices of a right triangle * Show using the slopes that the points (-7,2), (-3,-3), (2,1) and (-2,6) form a rectangle * Find the acute and obtuse angles between line1 passing through the points (1,8) and (6,2), and line2 passing through the points (-1,-3) and (2,11) * The cross section of a hut , 20 feet wide at its base is an isosceles triangle. If the slope of the side is 1.75 and a second floor is 9 feet above the ground floor, what is the width of the second floor? what is the angle at the tip of the hut? * Find the interior angles of the triangle whose sides are on the lines x+y-5=0, x-y-5=0 and 5x+y-1=0. There are more questions I’ve marked the questions and can be found here () ALL THE HELP IS PRETTY MUCH GREATLY APPRECIATED THANK YOU!

Lab activity

Attached is a map of the ocean floor. It shows plate boundaries and features of the continental margin. All that you have to do is drag the letters from below and place them where they belong. You can open the attached tutorial to learn how to add letters and symbols. Complete the following; you only have to label one of each feature except for the earthquakes:
1. Label each of the boundaries listed using the letters or shapes indicated: divergent (D), convergent (C) and transform fault boundaries (TF).
2. Label each of the features listed: continental shelf, (SF) continental slope (SL), abyssal plain (AP), seamount (SM), trench (TR) and a hot spot (HS).
3. Label Iceland (IL), Azores (AZ), Surtsey (SS). St. Helena (SH), Ascension (AS) and Tristan de Cunha (TC).
4. Using the USGS earthquake site (USGS Earthquake Site), label the quakes over a 5.0 magnitude (★) and the quake closest to your location in CA. (∞).below. In the upper right hand corner of the page, you will see an icon that looks like a wheel or gear. Click on it and select 7-days, All Magnitudes, Worldwide. The three lines to the left of the gear provides you with a list of quakes starting with the most recent.
5. Label the following: Rockies (RK), Himalayas (HM), Andes (AN) and Appalachians (AP).
6. Label the following: Hawai’i (HI), Mt. St. Helens (ST), Etna (ET), Pelee (PE), Kilimanjaro (KI), Pinatubo (PI) and Fuji (FJ).
Questions: Make sure that you answer each thoroughly.
• Describe the relationship, if any, of the boundaries in #1 to the features that you labeled in #2.
• Describe the relationship, if any, of the boundaries in #1 to the islands that you labeled in #3.
• Describe the relationship, if any, of the boundaries in #1 to the quakes that you labeled in #4.
• Describe the relationship, if any, of the boundaries in #1 to the mountain chains that you labeled in #5.
• Describe the relationship, if any, of the boundaries in #1 to the volcanoes that you labeled in #5.
• What do you think controls the appearance and form of the continental margin?
• How do you think that the mountain chains in #5 formed?
• Here is a thought question. Reflect back on your answer to questions C and E. Based on those responses, does it seem logical that Kilimanjaro is a much bigger volcano than any of the others, excluding Hawai’i? Hawai’i is a different type of volcano. Be sure to explain your answer.
USGS Earthquake site
When you have completed the map, save it to your computer, and submit it in Schoology.
How to complete the exercise:
Open the “GEO101L_Lab1_Map” file provided below. Expand the image (The bigger you can make the window, not the image itself, the easier it will be!). All of the symbols/letters that you will need are below the image. If not, see the directions below.
• If you click on a letter/symbol, you will see a box form around it.
• If you grab it by a line, not a circle, you can move it anywhere you wish.
• If it is difficult to get the line, you can zoom in or make the box bigger using the circles.
Once placed, you might wish to make the font larger or change the color. Yellow looks good on blue, for example. If, for some reason, the symbols are not the same as indicated, you can use any symbol you wish; just inform your instructor of what each represents. Do not change anything, however, if it appears as it should.
Note that you will probably need more than the single ★. If so, just copy it as many times as you need. The easiest way to do that is to grab it by a line and copy and paste. You may have to shift things around or change your choice a bit if an area gets too crowded with symbols.
When you are done, save the file to your hard drive for backup. You will now want to convert your page into a PDF. This will keep all of your labels in position.
• On a Mac, you can just hit Shift+Command+S and change the format. Alternatively, choose Save as… and change the format.
• On a PC, choose File in the menu, then Save As. Under Save as Type, choose PDF.

final essay test

PLEASE READ IT VERY CAREFULLY

OK everyone, so here is the skinny on the Final Exam. It is broken into two parts and you will need to go to two places in Blackboard to complete it. There are also two due dates that you must adhere to for the test. For part one you all will be doing one short five paragraph essay from a prompt we have provided for you. To access this part of the test go to the Assignments link in Blackboard and follow the instructions i.e. Read “A Negro Leader Explains Why Colored Men Fought for America, 1919” (Chapter 6, Document 7 of your primary documents reader) and using the essay as a springboard for discussion; write a five paragraph essay in which you discuss at least at least three reasons why black men’s commitment to fighting for the United States was a remarkable act of social responsibility. By “Social responsibility” we mean an ethical framework that suggests that an individual, organization, or entity has an obligation to act for the benefit of society at large. Your essay should contain an introduction (one paragraph), body (three paragraphs), and conclusion (one paragraph) and should include evidence from the given text. After you have completed your essay, please grade it using the following rubric: (4) if you think you got an A (90-100) on the essay; (3) if you think your got a B (80-89) on the essay; (2) if you think your got a C (70-79) on the essay; and (1) if you think you got a D/F (60-60 or 1-59) on the essay. Yes, you are self grading this essay. At the top of your essay write in bold print the number you think you got for your essay prior to submitting it. This is a “SafeAssign” assignment so it will check for plagiarism. The essay is available now and we want you all to complete it before 1:00pm on Monday, May 9th. It is not timed but please do have it done by the 9th.

COMPARING THREE THEORIES

For this week’s discussion you will consider the scenario below and respond in detail to each of the questions below. Here is the scenario you will use:Roberta has come to counseling because she is contemplating a divorce from her husband of 12 years. She has been unhappy in her marriage for several years and doesn’t think that she and her husband can rekindle the interest necessary in their relationship to make it work. To complicate the situation, she has been seeing a married co-worker for several months on the sly and is sexually involved. Roberta thinks she loves the man she is having an affair with and would like to marry him. Though he wants to continue seeing her he has made it clear that he is unwilling to end his marriage or break up his family to be with her. Roberta and her husband have three young children and she knows a divorce would be crushing to the children. She’s come to you for counseling to sort through these issues.1. In your opinion, which of the following counseling theories would you prefer to use to try and help her: Person-centered, Gestalt or Reality? Choose only one and explain your reasoning in detail.2. Using your chosen theory from question 1, would you go about helping her sort through her confusion? Be sure to bring in concepts from your chosen counseling theory to show how you would specifically work with her.3. Roberta is looking for answers to questions she feels unable to answer herself because she is so emotionally involved. After she tells you her story she asks you to give your perspective and advice on what she should do. How would you respond to this request? What potential problems might arise if you do give her direct advice? What potential problems might arise if you don’t give your perspective? Be specific and detailed in your response.  What would your chosen counseling theory have to say about giving direct advice?4. At the end of the session, Roberta is very distraught and asks if you would be available to meet her for coffee later that day to continue the conversation in a more casual environment. Under what circumstances might this be appropriate, if at all? What potential conflicts might this create? Be specific and draw upon information from your text and lecture materials to support your points.

Module 05 Course Project – Descriptive Statistics

For this assignment you will be analyzing data about the hospital you selected for your Course Project. The choice of data-topic is up to you; this way you can be certain that data is available. This will also give you some freedom to select an area that fits with your degree program, career aspirations, or personal interests. For example, students focusing on Healthcare Administration might want to focus on topics related to finance, operations or quality; whereas, Health Information Management students might focus on topics related to clinical outcomes, reimbursements, or specific diseases. Personal options might be if you have a special condition or are planning to have a baby and want to perform your statistical analysis focusing on those areas of the hospital as it relates to local and national data. (If you have questions or need ideas, please email your instructor.)Once you have located your data, analyze it and produce: Present these elements in a 1-2 page paper with properly cited APA references (not including your data and chart/graph information). Be sure to include adequate explanation of the statistics used and their importance as related to the topic.Descriptive statistics such as means, standard deviations, frequencies, ranges, percentiles, etc. can be used. Your textbook is a great resource for ideas on statistics you can analyze. You will most likely need to use some statistical analysis software to help make your calculations. You probably have Excel installed on your computer already and can find YouTube videos for ‘Descriptive Statistics in Excel’. If you have another software package that you are comfortable using for your job or are feeling adventurous to learn something new, feel free to select different software to help with your analysis.Compare your hospital with other local and national facilities of comparable size and service options (benchmarking). Some healthcare data resources that might help you can be found in the list below. If you find the website URLs have changed, search for the organization and locate the data it offers.Remember to include properly cited APA references and save any sources used for an annotated bibliography that you will be creating as a project deliverable later in the course.
