ENG II Unit IV Journal

In this unit, we have discussed both the introduction and the literature review. Throughout the process of writing both of these sections, you have no doubt gained a better understanding of the controversy that you are exploring with your paper. You probably have a better sense of your argument and what you would like your points to be for your body paragraphs. Consider what you have experienced over the last few units. We are at the halfway point in the course, so think about how far you have come. In this reflection, introduce your professor to your project. Speak about the pro and con sides of the controversy, and present your thesis statement. Then, consider some of the following questions as you reflect upon the road so far. If you want to, explain a little bit about your process. What have you experienced so far in writing your paper? Was it difficult or fairly easy to come up with your design? Do you feel confident about your presentation so far? How do you feel about your thesis statement? What would you like to do in revisions? What step seems the most difficult or the easiest for you?

Attention Writing King: Select and Defend a Risk Response Strategy for Each Project Risk

Modify the Excel spreadsheet you created and submitted in Week 4 so that it includes, to the right of the Risk Factor value column, columns titled Risk Management Strategy, Action Prior to Risk Event Realization, Action in the Event of Risk Event Realization, and Rationale, respectively. In the Risk Management Strategy column, enter one of the following for each of the risks:  Avoid, Transfer, Mitigate, Accept, or Exploit.  Enter any action to  take in advance of the risk event occurring; if any action will be taken, based on the strategy selected, in the Action Prior to Risk Event Realization column, indicate “none” if no action will be taken.  Enter the action that will be taken if the risk event does indeed occur in the “Action in the Event of Risk Event Realization” column.  Finally, enter your rationale for how you populated these three columns for each risk in the Rationale column. Format all cells using a combination of the wrap-text function, column width specification, and row height specification such that your instructor does not have to manipulate the spreadsheet in any way to read all contents of all cells.  When the spreadsheet file is opened, all text in all cells should be readable if the instructor scrolls the spreadsheet vertically or horizontally, but no other navigation commands in the spreadsheet should be required to read all text.

sEX HEALTH HIV FOR REY WRITER

HIV/AIDS is preventable, but rates of infection in the U.S. have yet to decrease significantly. The following groups have been identified for targeted prevention by the CDC: Minorities, Women, Youth (under 25), and Gay/Bisexual Individuals. Where do you think prevention dollars should be spent? Imagine you are designing an awareness and/or prevention program. For whom would you design it? What risk factors would you be targeting in that group? What programs or services would your ideal program offer? Do you think a program such as the one you suggested is realistic? Why or why not?
