Discuss the Saint Leo value of community that demonstrates the ways in which identified social system communities promote people in achieving optimal health and well-being.

Each student will write a major paper demonstrating critical thinking about a current social topic that impacts the person and his/her environment and an aspect of human development (professor must approve topic). This paper will require students to reflect on theoretical perspectives and empirical knowledge in the field of social work in an in-depth literature review of the chosen social topic.
